GS Ethernet Drive Adapters

The GS-EDRV100 adapter provides an Ethernet connection between a control system and AutomationDirect's GS/DURApulse series of AC drives. The control system can be any of the following:

a Do-more CPU with an onboard Ethernet port (H2-DM1E or T1H-DM1E) which has the GS-EDRV100 configured as an Ethernet I/O Slave
a DL205 CPU or DL405 CPU with the network connection to the GS-EDRV100 provided by an Ethernet Remote Master module (H2-ERM100 or H4-ERM100)
a Productivity3000 which can connect to either adapter over its onboard Ethernet port
PC using a custom device driver that was developed using our Ethernet SDK
a PC running the KEPDirect EBC I/O server
any independent I/O controller with a Modbus TCP/IP driver

The GS-EDRV100 is DIN rail mounted devices (mounting hardware provided). The user provides a 10/100Mb Ethernet connection to the GS-EDRV100, then uses the provided serial cable to connect the adapter to the AC drive's programming port.

One GS-EDRV100 adapter is required for each GS Series AC drive. The adapter provides communications watchdog timeout indications for both the serial and the Ethernet interfaces.
