Description of Problems / Additions / Changes

1.1.354   14-Oct-2008 Can now use Output Word 10 & Output Word 11 to write to P9.29 in order to SET an External Fault (EF) on the drive. However, it disallows using Output Word 10 & Output Word 11 to write to P9.30 (to RESET an EF) since Output Word 4 is already writing to P9.30.

1.1.339   03-Oct-2007 Fixed a problem where the GS-EDRV was not correctly reporting that the serial cable between the GS-EDRV and the GS1 or GS2 was unconnected.

1.1.336   02-Jul-2007 Fixed a problem where the GS-EDRV was not correctly reporting the Status Monitor information.

1.1.324   25-Oct-2006 Remove duplicate write operations from the 'pending writes queue' to allow for better performance when used with an H2-ERM or H4-ERM.

Register 9.08 (Restore Factory Settings) will now accept values from 0 through 99.
1.1.267   10-Nov-2005 When using Modbus/TCP, if the GS-EDRV receives additional read or write requests from the same client before it has a chance to respond to the first request, then those intervening requests could be ignored.

3.0.154 20-Jul-2005 This change to the common boot loader does not affect the GS-EDRV or the HA-EDRV2. For a description of this change see the H4-ECOM Revision History.

3.0.139 25-Apr-2005 This change to the common boot loader does not affect the GS-EDRV or the HA-EDRV2. For a description of this change see the H2-ECOM Revision History.

1.1.201   13-Apr-2005 If the serial port configuration has it's communication watchdog timer configured, use the serial port's timeout value as the Ethernet side's watchdog timer value.

Change 3rd word of slot 3 to be fault bit field; add serial comm fault as bit 1

Fixed a Modbus/TCP communication problem if the GS-EDRV was a slave to an Hx-ECOM100.

1.1.162   02-Feb-2005 Now correctly auto-bauds to the GS1, GS2 and GS3 drives in ASCII mode.

1.1.109   18-Apr-2004 Added ability to access register 9.42 in the GS1 and GS2 drives.

3.0.101 12-May-2003 Decrease the delay time in the boot loader so that a D4-440 using a D4-RAM-1 memory cartridge would correctly identify the H4-ECOM. We now do the following:

Wait for Link Good + 150ms
OR
if No Link Good wait for a total of 2000ms
.

1.1.84   12-May-2003 Add support for MODBUS function code 16 (write multiple registers).

1.1.82   07-March-2003 Add Watchdog Timer on the Ethernet connection

Add Monitor Status to the I/O map. Adding this to the standard I/O map increases the I/O size by one WORD. If you are currently using the EDRV with an ERM, this size increase will cause the ERM to GS-EDRV connection to fail. You will need to reconfigure the ERM to see the new I/O size of the GS-EDRV.

1.1.71   24-January-2003 Fix web interface problem

1.1.24 3.0.101 25-October-2002 Initial release.
