PONOFF - Push On / Push Off

Each time the input logic for a Push On / Push Off (PONOFF) instruction transitions from OFF to ON, the Push On / Push Off instruction will invert the designated bit location. This function is also known as a Toggle output coil. The instruction can be configured with an optional, external Reset location.

Parameters:

Note: Use the F9 key to open the Default Element Selection Tool (the Element Picker or the Element Browser) or use the Down-Arrow key (Auto-Complete) on any parameter field to see a complete list of the memory locations that are valid for that parameter of the instruction.

In / Out - specifies the discrete memory location that will be toggled. This can be any writable bit location.

Reset - optionally enable an additional bit location that, when ON, will turn OFF the In / Out Bit location.

Status Display:

The gray triangle at the right end of the input leg indicates this input is edge-triggered, meaning that each time the instruction's input logic transitions from OFF to ON, the specified bit location will be ON for one complete scan.
