Box Input Leg Labels

Some of the box instructions have their inputs labeled to help identify the function of that particular input.

The following is a list of the leg labels that are used in the software:

- (Auto / Manual) - when this input is ON the instruction will be set to Automatic Mode, when OFF the instruction will be set to Manual Mode.

- (Data) - when this input is ON a value of 1 will be available to the instruction, when OFF a value of 0 will be available.

- (CTRIO: Direction) - when this input is ON the CTRIO output will pulse in the clockwise direction, when OFF the CTRIO output will pulse in the counter-clockwise direction.

- (Down) - when this input transitions from OFF to ON it will cause the instruction to count down.

- (Enable) - when this input is ON the instruction is enabled.

- (Enable / Reset) - when this input is ON the instruction will run and when OFF the instruction to stop running and reset its status data.

- (Forward) - when this input is ON the Axis will begin moving in the clockwise direction.

- (CTRIO: Go To Position) - when this input transitions ON the CTRIO output will begin pulsing until it reaches the Position value, turn this input back OFF to setup for additional Go To Position requests.

- (Jog) - this input will cause the instruction to advance to the next step.

- (Pause) - this input will cause the instruction to stop executing but retain its current status.

- (Reset) - this input will cause the instruction to stop running and reset its status data.

- (DRUM: Run) - when this input is ON the Drum instruction's timer will run and / or it's events will be active, when OFF the Drum's timer will stop running or events will not be monitored.

- (Reverse) - when this input is ON the Axis will begin moving in the counter-clockwise direction.

- (CTRIO: Suspend) - when this input is ON the CTRIO output will stop sending output pulses, when OFF the CTRIO output is able to send output pulses.

- (Up) - this input will cause the instruction to count up.

- (Edge Trigger) - this symbol denotes an input that requires a transition from OFF to ON for the instruction to execute. If used in a Multi-scan or Fully-Asynchronous instruction each time this input logic transitions from OFF to ON the instruction will run to completion, even if the input logic goes OFF before the operation is complete.
