Host Engineering was started in early 1992 in a partnership with Koyo Electronics Ltd. in Japan. Koyo chartered Host Engineering to create a PLC programming package in coordination with the 1994 launch of PLCDirect by Koyo (now Automationdirect.com) who would be selling the Koyo-produced PLC products. The result of this effort was DirectSOFT, the first Windows™ based micro-PLC programming package.

From those humble beginnings, God has provided the vision and provision to 'enlarge our tent' to cover control and communications products including enhanced PLC programming software, data servers, human-machine interface products, PC-based control, Ethernet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and motion interfaces to encoders and drives.

Host Engineering reverently affirms the Bible's revelation that our universe has been created and is governed by God. Industrial control solutions do not just happen, and neither did the world we live in. Furthermore, God loves you deeply, and has a wonderful plan for your life.

The focus of ALMI is on what Christ has already given each believer--His life indwelling is all that is needed. There is nothing that the nearness of the Lord will not cure.

God allows problems in His children's lives to bring them into a dependent relationship with Himself. As believers allow life’s problems to bring them into His presence, the purpose of the problems has been fulfilled.

The seed for Abiding Life Ministries International was planted in 1972 when the Lord burdened the heart of Michael Wells to minister to defeated believers. In subsequent years, through many hours of individual discipleship, the simple teaching of abiding in Christ moment by moment was revealed as the answer for abundant living. ALMI has labored to make this message uncomplicated and reasonable; the answer for defeat must be simple and within the grasp of the very weakest.

Abiding Life Ministries International has been such a blessing to many of us here at Host Engineering. So much so that we've purchased a complete collection of his ministry tapes and have made MP3 recordings of them. We want to make these MP3s available to anyone who would like them. Each side of each tape is a separate MP3. Most are about 5Mb, a pretty hefty download for sure, but it is well worth the effort. Take them, listen to them, share them freely with others.
